We're pleased to feature Christina Kelly's debut novel, Good Karma, today at CLC. Thanks to HarperCollins, we have FIVE copies to give away!
After almost forty years in New Jersey, Catherine, Ralph, and their beloved Boston Terrier Karma are hitting the road, relocating to a gorgeous, serene island off the coast of Savannah where Catherine can work on her backhand and Ralph can hit the links daily. Upon their arrival in the Seven Oaks gated community, though, it becomes apparent that Catherine and Ralph’s visions of retirement couldn’t be more different. As the pair drifts further apart and she senses that their marriage at risk, Catherine meets recent widower Fred at the dog park. United by their dogs, they embark upon a friendship that could be something more—until she discovers that he’s not quite what he seems. As she sorts out fact from fiction and sees what sorts of secrets might be hiding behind Seven Oaks’ picket fences, she’ll have to make a decision affecting her future happiness and her chance at new love.
“Christina Kelly’s charming debut novel examines the heart of a long-married woman who, uprooted from the familiar, finds herself foundering, but finally flourishing in her new Savannah home, with a well-deserved second chance at love.”
— Mary Kay Andrews, New York Times bestselling author of The Weekenders and Beach Town
“Good Karma is a fast-paced, funny, great good fortune of a novel that has it all: a love story, a mystery, eccentrics, adorable dogs, and even an alligator. Christina Kelly has a talent for touching our hearts even as she has us falling off the sofa with laughter.”
— Nancy Thayer, New York Times bestselling author of Secrets in Summer

My dream retirement would be living at the beach or lake house and just relaxing with lots of peace and quiet and no stress.

Have retired, and sad to say not like expected. Golden Years not always the best.

I dream about retirement all the time! I want to live out in the country in a vintage farmhouse to read all day and catch up on all my shows I'm too busy to keep up with now! I also want to travel a lot and go on at least once cruise a year with my hubby.
My retirement has been a big disappointment due to serious health and medical problems which occurred suddenly and for the past 5 years.
I have not experience
Well I'm retired, a little earlier than most. But no I don't feel its all that great. Old age comes with a lot of horrible issues. When your body starts falling apart it isn't much fun!
I love being retired. Time for reading, gardening, cooking up new recipes, reading, now raising three grandchildren, and reading! The grandchildren are a blessed bonus!
I don't think I could retire, we will be working till we die. But if I could, I wouldn't like to be idle
I love the title... what you put out there can come back to you!
I dont think I will be able to retire at all. Trying to get a full time job but cant get one with the company I work for.
Love reading about dogs gossipy dog people at dog parks.🐶🐶💕
I think retirement willbe wonderful. No more alarm clocks and no more stress from work.
I was disability retired for 20 years before I became officially retired. I still like to get up at 6am every day. I just wish the pay was better.
I envision retirement relaxing, traveling, dancing, and doing all the things I enjoy to do like reading, watercoloring, sketching, and embroidery.
Retirement is going to be all about me & what I want to do.
Retirement is the best! I love that my time is my own. I can work as hard as I want to at home or not!!!!
I am retired, and I love it. I can do what I want, when I want, and no one can tell me what to do. Yes, I can't run and jump and blow and go like I want right now because of mobility issues I am working on, but I am gardening, getting settled in a new home, and enjoying life to the best of my ability, and it is really good.

Dream retirement for me would be living near the beach and having loads of time to read!
When I retire from teaching, it would be a DREAM to travel, see the world, and help others in need! I would start with Latin America. 💯☺🌎 Thank you for the chance...I LOVE dogs (and dog people) so much!! 🐕 That makes you awesome!! ❤
My husband and I want to buy a few acres of land in the mountains when we retire. I will plant lots of berry bushes and invite all our family & friends to come pick summer fruit!

I experience good Karma all the time.. Good Karma is my middle name.
My dream retirement will be in about 5 years, on our little 3 acres, where we can garden and just take things easy. We love camping, hiking and fishing, so we are in the perfect place for that her in the Ozarks.
God is good to me and my family and always blesses us with good karma.
My vision of retirement is having an RV and traveling around with a dog, most likely a lab. I want to complete my bucket list sooo badly.
Plenty of good karma recently. [You get back what you give, for sure. ;-) ]
