Synopsis of What a Girl Wants:
Tess Brookes was the girl with a plan.
Now she’s the girl with a choice.
Should she stay in London and start her own advertising agency with her best friend and potential boyfriend Charlie? Or should she head to exciting Milan to pursue both a new career as a photographer and a new man, the enigmatic and elusive (and highly irritating) Nick?
For the first time, Tess has to choose between the life she always dreamed of and a future she never imagined possible. With her heart and her head pulling her in different directions, Tess has to make a life-changing decision about "What a Girl Wants." (Courtesy of Lindsey's website.)
Annual summertime tradition:
Sunburn.
Favorite summertime beverage:
Pimms
Favorite water activity:
Does sitting in the ocean and refusing to move count? No? Sigh.
Favorite carnival game:
Hook a Duck! I used to be pretty good.
Favorite summertime memory from when you were growing up:
Climbing onto the top of my granddad’s shed with my brother and cousin.
Favorite chick lit novel that takes place in the summer:
It’s not technically chick lit but Paula Danziger’s Remember Me to Harold Square will always be one of my favourite books, however old I am. It’s about a New York teen’s summer adventure in her own city and it made me fall in love with NYC years before I ever visited.

My favorite summer time memory from when I was young were the afternoons spent at a local beach with my parents and siblings. In the hottest day's of July and August we would spend many an afternoon and early evening there just relaxing and cooling off in the water. There was also an old carousel that you could ride for 5 cents, which we did over and over!
My favorite summer memory is visiting my grandmother, climbing cherry tree that grew in her garden and eating fresh picked cherries straight from the tree
There was a summer day camp at the local swimming pool that we went to every year...arts and crafts, outdoor games and swimming lessons. It was always such fun.
Visiting my family in the Midwest. Only got to see them in the summer and we had so much fun on my grandparents farm!
Playing at the park/playground and flying kites!
Baking watermelon cookies
Going to a Provence camp site. There you could jump of the rocks into the river. I loved swimming with the fish...
Camping with my Mum & Dad, right on the seafront in Scotland.....magical
Sheerie Franks
I remember running barefoot in the yard and doing cannoballs into the pool.
family vacation to disney world
Heading down to the coast each summer. I still try to do this. Great memories.
Hanging out at the creek trying to stay cool
Riding my bike around the neighborhood all day with my best friend. Laughing, having fun and just being a kid.
going to the beach with friends
Going on long bike rides with my sister.
It has to be cycling around every single day of summer with my best friends and having such a great time! :)

I always loved to go out in the evening with my Miracle Whip jar that had holes poked in lid to catch fireflies. Had the best time; and let them go before i had to go in for the day.
