Becky:
Strangest way you've ever met a friend:
At an Adele Parks author event at a library. We'd both gone on our own but ended up chatting and swapping numbers by the end!
Other chick lit author you'd want to be best friends with:
I'd have to say Carole Matthews. She's so witty on Facebook and is a constant presence brightening her reader's day! She also likes making cupcakes as much as I do, so I'd hope she'd share some with me if I were a 'real' friend, and she could teach me how to ice them, presentation always lets me down but hers always look exceptional!
Thelma and Louise! "Keep going." Need i say more?
What do you enjoy doing with friends the most?
I love simple catch-ups over coffee or a meal. It's a great feeling when you've not seen a friend for a while because you're both busy but you are instantly reminded exactly why you're friends once the laughter begins.
Favorite destination for a girls weekend/trip:
Anywhere where there's an opportunity for some pampering and relaxation, and plenty of cups of tea! (Getting old..!)
Three words to describe your best friend:
I have a handful of close friends rather one 'best' friend but when I'm thinking of one particular friend I'd say: forthright; funny, and filthy! (sense of humour wise!)
How did you meet your best friend?
After moving away from my hometown after University I've ending up meeting my closest friends through work, most of them have flown the work nest now but even years later we're still close. My Mum is also one of my best friends nowadays, we've become closer the older we've become. :)
Desperate Housewives. I love the fact that they're all so different but always stick together. (They are so far in the UK anyway!)
Character from "Friends" you'd be best friends with?
Monica. A stable, reliable friend! She'd never forget your birthday would she?! and Courteney Cox seems to be a very good friend in real life too!
Cindy:
(Side note: It's also a novel by the fabulous Iris Rainer Dart.)

Nice getting to know you both better! And I agree with Becky about Monica from Friends and Cindy with Beaches (I cry an ocean each time I watch it, yet I watch it again and again...)
thanks Meredith :)
I'm going to watch BEACHES again tonight with a glass of milk and oreos to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the oreo cookie! ....and I'm sure I'll cry...
