Today we have the utmost pleasure of having THE Jackie Collins, one of the world's top-selling authors. Jackie is amongst the world’s top-selling novelists, with over 400 million copies of her books sold in more than 40 countries, and with twenty-eight New York Times bestsellers. She was given the name "raunchy moralist" by the late director Louis Malle and “Hollywood’s own Marcel Proust” by Vanity Fair magazine. As a teenager, Jackie started writing steamy stories that her classmates actually paid to read. As an adult, she went on to write the international sensation, "Hollywood Wives" which became a #1 New York Times bestseller and was made into one of ABC’s highest-rated miniseries starring Anthony Hopkins and Candice Bergen. Her latest novel is "Goddess of Vengeance," a novel full of power, passion, revenge, and raging family dynamics.
We have some copies of "Goddess of Vengeance" to give away...both in print and audio! Ann-Marie Nieves at Get Red PR has one print copy to share with a lucky reader in the US or Canada. And Esther Bochner at Macmillan Audio has five audio copies to give away to readers (or listeners in this case) in the US.
You can find Jackie at her website, Facebook and Twitter.

I like her books would love to win this for I've read them all but this new one,and I follow you on facebook!carolefiore@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI have the UK version of "Goddess of Vengeance" and would love the US version! My favorite inside joke is with my boyfriend is when he'll walk past me and whisper in my ear, 'later'. My 8 year old always wants to know what we're doing later, thinking it's for all of us, lol! Love Jackie, LOVE all of her books and can't wait for her next one to come out!
ReplyDeleteI heart Jackie Collins and am a faithful fan. My inside joke is "it's cold in Canada, eh" As a recent Cali resident, it's my code to get out of any sticky situations with my adoring, American husband. Would love to win GOV.
ReplyDeleteJackie Collins is such a delight!
ReplyDeleteWe have a family story that back in the 40's my grandmother would say "My sides hurt" and that would mean she wanted some nookie later that night. I have no idea how that got started! Now, though, we say it and I find it so bizarrely humorous.
I follow you on GFC :)

Really funny about her getting into Greg Kinnear's limo! I don't think I'd want to leave! ;) Ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite inside jokes deals with Billy Zane, the actor from Titanic. My friend was describing a former classmate who was physically confident about his appearance and said, "It's like he thinks he's BILLY ZANE!" We all just died laughing because Billy Zane is NEVER the point of reference for something like that! Brad Pitt, George Clooney, but never Billy Zane!

I once was at the airport talking with a travel representative who may have been a man or a woman. I just had no idea. So as not to offend the person, I kept repeating to myself "don't acknowledge him/her by his gender. Don't acknowledge him/her by his gender." Suffice to say, when the time came to leave I heard myself say "thank you, sir". I swear, I felt like
Homer Simpson right then and there. You know, when he goes "D'ho!" every time he does something stupid.
