"Inappropriate Men" by Stacey Ballis:
Sidney Stein has come undone, but who's going to pick up the pieces?
After eight years, the passion has evaporated from Sidney Stein's marriage. Her husband seems disinterested and Sidney, always flirtatious, begins to turn her attentions elsewhere. But surely, Sidney could've chosen more wisely than a man more than 20 years her senior? Wait - it gets worse. He's also married. And here's the coup de grĂ¢ce - he's a partner in her father's law firm.
One would think that Sidney couldn't make a worse choice - but perhaps that's what makes it all seem so right.

Melissa A:
I had read, and loved, two books by Ms. Ballis prior to reading "Inappropriate Men." However, this one took the cake. Sidney is down to earth and not afraid to display her flaws. I found myself cheering for and sympathizing with her throughout the entire story. Plus, Ms. Ballis' descriptions of food made me super hungry!

Go Sidney!! If your man is significantly older than you and your relationship seems "inappropriate" to some, ignore them and go with your heart! I haven't read the book yet, but I'm hoping that Stacey Ballis writes a happy ending for Sidney.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I was unware of this one. It looks like a good read!
